Description

Jemimah Barraclough is happily married with four young children. A recent stroke of good fortune enables the family to enjoy a standard of living far above that which her husband, Bob, could generate from his employment as a railway maintenance engineer. In certain quarters Jemimah is adjudged to be a fair weather Christian who would reject God if she fell on bad times, the same accusation that was levelled at Job in the Old Testament. Jemimah does indeed suffer successive disasters and it is when disaster strikes the railway that she faces her greatest challenge.
