Description
“Hope’s Flower” is a children’s story about the magical power of love and encouragement. After getting a seed to nurture into a flower, Hope quickly learns that there’s more to growing than meets the eye. She encounters a rude classmate named Billy, her argumentative neighbors the Williams, and some angry travelers in traffic, and their negativity ends up having a wilting effect on her flower – but when she receives support from her teacher, her mother, and her grandmother, she sees how beautiful her flower can bloom!
In the end, Hope’s story about her flower takes on a larger message: necessities for growth take different shapes and forms, and sometimes there are ones you can’t see as easily – like love and support – that have a truly powerful effect.
