Description
Thirty years ago, Jerry Winslow decided to spend one year traveling around the country, in the hope it would lead him to a decision about what he wanted to do in life, even if that decision was to stay in his home town and forever be an electrician.
But soon, he met Katy, a teenage runaway; then Patti and Steve, and instead of completing an around the country journey, he ended up in Vancouver, Canada where he would find his calling.
Thirty years later, he had managed to file the tragedies of his early childhood in the dark recesses of his mind. But his son, a student at the University of Washington, met Beth, a young woman from his home town in New Jersey, and now Jerry and his wife Katy, and their friends the Boynton’s are traveling eastward on a Gulfstream G-5 to attend a wedding.
Their journey will lead to the Boynton’s discovery of a secret they can never divulge; and Jerry’s discovery of the government’s involvement in the disappearance of his mother when he was thirteen as he and Katy each find Closure in their respective lives.
