Description
The events within this story are told through the unique perspective of Michelle Risse, and primarily take place in Fairbanks, Alaska. Fairbanks is a location where it is not uncommon for temperatures to reach down to negative 40, and darkness remains to be a familiar yet depressing phenomenon. Throughout this book Risse is unable to find love; leading her to share and embellish many of the awkward events and dating experiences. Throughout this book she finds herself having to search different venues for suitable men while hoping that one day things would get better. This book is a comedic piece and is note intended to create hard feelings or bring about emotional turmoil.
